The Auto Body Plant was built in 1953 by Paul Oliver with assistance from his13-year old nephew, Henri Ingels, who had just arrived from Belgium. The business opened under the ownership of Glenn "PeeWee" Anderson and Slim Ball of Monroe. During theirtenure, Henri Ingels worked under these two gentlemen and gained the knowledge of the auto body repair business. At the young age of 23, Henri bought into the business buying Slim Ball's portion. Ten years later, Henri acquired PeeWee's partnership and then he purchased the building from Paul Oliver. Henri worked at the Auto Body Plant and gained many customers as time went on.
