Owning a German car or any other luxury vehicle can be unnecessarily tough because a lot mechanics will talk up the price of repairs and justify it as necessary because “it’s a luxury car” or “it’s a European vehicle and needs very particular care.
Bell's has taken care of my love for old Silver Arrows since I was 16 (I'm 27 at the time of this writing) and they Pre-Purchase Inspected my first car, a 1994 W124 E320 Coupe, to my current W116, a '74 450SEL (and previously, a '75 280S).
They are the very best Mercedes mechanics in Bergen county, the dealerships around could learn a lot from them, how to fix an older Mercedes, pricing, customer service and knowing what they are talking about first time in.
