Choose a shop that is more interested in servicing you instead of the insurance company. Beware of any insurance company trying to steer or direct you to “their” shop. Beware of canned phrases from insurance company representatives such as “They are not on our list”, “we can't guarantee their work”, “they take to long”, “you will have to pay the difference”, plus many more phrases and tactics they use to “steer” you to “their” shop. I haven't used them for collision so I can't comment there (body shops tend to have a backlog so I wouldn't be surprised if you had to schedule collision repair a few weeks in advance)
