In choosing our new name, we wanted to honor the legacy of founder Jack Kamp, who gave everything he had to the shop and his customers since he was 18 years old. He established an Alger Heights neighborhood staple, and the very least we could do was honor the legacy he built. Hence “Legacy” for our name, and a steadfast commitment to providing the same level of honest, state-of-the-art service at a fair price that Jack did for decades.

My car died and I had to get it towed to Legacy and I could drop my key off after business hours.
They also use good communication software so I can see pictures and descriptions of exactly what they recommend and why.
Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable on my first visit for oil change.
They provide updates and explain what they find and provide cost upfront.
They did exactly what was needed, kept us informed along the way, and prices were reasonable.
Price point up there with dealership but in the neighborhood and like supporting them.
Great group and hard working folk.
Great communication, reasonable time for the work requested, and very detailed breakdown of what was looked at and what did and did not need to be fixed.

Moved some cars around to get mine in and did a very thorough job with the fix, even taking the tire off of the rim to fix it RIGHT!
