The Moretto's started in the towing industry in 1985 in Prince Rupert, BC with one tow truck. They were active members of the local community and performed towing services for the local RCMP, City of Prince Rupert and BCAA and other auto clubs. In 1991, they sold their towing business in Prince Rupert and moved their family to the Okanagan. The same year they opened a towing company in Summerland, BC and performed services similar to that of their business in Prince Rupert. They towed for the municipality, the RCMP and BCAA and the other auto clubs. In 1997, Mario and Darlene opened Mario's Towing Ltd. at 3770 Hwy 97N in Kelowna, BC. Shortly after they sold Summerland Towing, they dedicated their efforts to provide towing services in Kelowna and West Kelowna.
