Full-time Mechanic Job Description Established in 1983 Rosencrans Truck Repair has grown through mutually beneficial relationships with customers though out a multi county area. As a mechanic for Rosencrans Truck Repair, you will maintain, diagnose and repair, vehicles and equipment, gas and diesel engine, drivetrains and electrical, including computer diagnostic. You will service and repair all systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical, accessories, body, frame, suspension and brakes. Rosencrans Truck Repair is a Drug-Free Workplace. All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening. We will train the right candidate if you lack experience. Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, tools and licenses. Responsibilities and Duties Additionally the major duties and responsibilities of the mechanic include: Complete overhaul of engines, transmissions and other sub-systems. Root cause failure analysis. Obtaining correct parts from stock and documenting. Documenting inspections and completed repairs on the work order. Cleaning equipment, tools and work area.
