BODYSHOPS HATE DENTCO. YES. it's true and it's quite ok. We got a letter from a local bodyshop threatening us- he was frustrated over many of his customers coming to us repeatedly. Imagine operating a 25,000 sq foot building complete with massive paint booth, frame machine and the best welding equipment for major crashes. That's great for heavy collision work- but what if you just have a dent or scratched bumper? The challenge is to offer a fair price and get the customer back their vehicle quickly. A big behemoth bodyshop can't do that. At all. Collision work clogs the shop and all those toys cost money. Big shops are best for big jobs. Small studios are best for small jobs- dents, scratches, bumper repairs, key scratches etc. We stay in our lane and serve clients with great prices, quality and SPEED. Big shops cannot. They need to adapt or die. Big shops simply need to focus on heavy collision, and small studios serve customers with small repairs, fast and affordably.
