Paint correction does need to be performed before a ceramic coatings gets installed. BUT, In some cases we will refuse to apply a ceramic coating if the paint isn't in great condition. If there is: ✘ a ton of scratches ✘ any oxidation or fading ✘ peeling paint ✘ or any other major defects that would cause our coating to not bond into the clear coat properly.
