10- steps Car cleaning Routine: 1. De-clutter! clear everything out- bring a basket.. 2. Mats remove them remove debris and clean them 3 .Window and Mirrors- wash windows and your mirrors 4. Interior detailing - mild cleaners and microfiber towels work best 5. Seats, and floors- vacuum - pay attention to corners 6. Surface Treatments - use appropriate products (no silicone based) 7. Trunk or rear hatch time.... clear and vacuum 8. Finishing Touches: clean off weather strips and apply appropriate conditioners 9. Replace contents: mats, sunglasses ect.... 10. Exterior: Start with your tires - Dawn dish soap and water work great, then wash the car don't let soap dry wash and rinse as you go - give it a good rinse and dry thoroughly . and if your feeling up to it give it a wax - or at least your front end to keep bugs and stuff from damaging it .
