•• 1978 GMC MOTORHOME PRIMER FINALLY PREPPED UP TO PERFECTION! •• In our previous post, we showed the guide-coating process we underwent on this iconic 1978 GMC Motorhome to prep the primer for the base and clear coats. Guide coating allows us to mark all the areas where the primer is not 100% smooth, 100% even. The sanding process aims at removing all the guidecoating marks to even out the primer, and obtain the smoothness necessary for paint application. On a vehicle of this quality and rarity, the paint job MUST be of the highest class, and so the primer must be silk-smooth and dead even. In this photo you can see the motorhome in the final stage before paint. Artistic Elegance repairs any RV, fixes any bodywork imperfection, repairs any broken fiberglass and repaints your RV to better-than-factory specifications.
