About Us ATCS Lubbock was started by Glenn D. Nall, and Glenn Jr. in 2000. Glenn was an expert in hydraulics, and he leveraged his expertise in hydraulics, coupled with his extensive knowledge of automatic transmissions, to begin producing and selling rebuilt torque converters. Initially, Glenn sold torque converters in the Lubbock, Texas area, but quickly expanded into other adjacent cities. Raleigh Steinhauer, having a strong background in accounting and finance and over 20 years of expertise in telecommunications, entered into a partnership with Glenn starting January 1, 2003. Glenn and Raleigh met in church and, after working together in a jail ministry, jointly decided to become business partners.
