I had a new motor installed in my truck 3 months ago at a cost of just under $7,000. It had a slight ticking noise that got to the point of being annoying. I pulled the engine cover and found it leaking at the exhaust doughnut. There was obvious leaking if you put your hand next to it. I brought it back to D T and was told my manifold was warped and it would be $796. 00 to fix it. I just left the exhaust shop I have gone to for years and they said it was just the doughnut and if the motor was just replaced they should fix it. They said there was no indication there was a leak between the manifold and engine. I am ripping to think my first problem that should be covered instead could have cost me $796 if I did not check further. The exhaust shop questioned why there was not new...
