I first went to Pong's (now Fred's Wrigleyville Garage) when I was new to the city. They were so helpful and up front about everything. I've had 3 excellent experiences with them. First, my car was making a very weird sound on the wheel and I took it in to get it checked out. It was a minor fix and Pong and his crew fixed it right away for me free of charge. Another instance my exhaust pipe was broke and they were straight up with me and said don't get it fixed here as it will cost more and then recommended me to another shop that was excellent. Lastly, today I woke up to a flat tire that I couldn't drive on. I live about a mile away from the shop and he sent one of his crew members to my apartment within 5 minutes so that I was able to drive it over and get it fixed. Only cost me...

I took my 2012 Chevy Malibu in for an issue with the front end (lights for ABS, Traction, and ESC were on too) before taking a long road trip and I had my issues fixed and my car back in the same day!
Fred and his team were fast, efficient, and competitively priced.
I had a mechanic give me a list of a ton of stuff wrong so I took my car to Fred’s and they found what really needed to be fixed and had it completed quickly and explained everything to me.
Great experience working with them when my transmission went out.
I’ve been taking my husband’s car and my recently purchased car into Fred’s and they have always been very straight forward with me on what the car needs and don’t try to over sell me on things the car doesn’t need.
Fred’s is the best around and the only place I trust with my car.
