The Hagin family has been actively involved in the Martinez community for generations. Andy Hagin, the owner of Hagin's Automotive, believes in doing the job right the first time so you can get back to your busy schedule. Andy's source of inspiration was his father, the late Bob Hagin. Bob Hagin was an auto shop teacher at College Park High School for 25 years, and was regularly featured on KCBS under the moniker of “Dr. Grease”. Bob Hagin also wrote a syndicated newspaper column in the Contra Costa Times, and explained himself as the “Ann Landers of Automotive. ” Andy often says, “My dad built our reputation as the car repair experts in Martinez, and my job is to maintain that reputation. ”
