I was very lucky to be taken under the wing of a very talented BMW tech. His name was Sigfried Krause. Yes he was German, just over from Germany for only a couple of years. I stayed at the dealer for 12 years where I was factory trained and held Master Technician status through BMWNA from 1985 to the year I left in 1992, leaving the dealer to open a shop of my own here in Gaithersburg. I've been here since the fall of 1992 and have a faithful following. They really enjoy the fact that they can take their BMW to an honest mechanic that knows the car inside and out.
