I've have had a 2003 Porsche 996 Cabriolet for about a year and about a month ago something went wrong with one of the tension cables. . immediately my mind raced to the bankruptcy I was going to have to file because of this lol. I did research online and the forums told me it will be 500, 1000, 1500 dollars to fix and all hope was crushed. I brought it to Tops and Trends in Raleigh because the dealership I work for sends all of our customers there for sunroof installs, leather, convertible fixes and their experiences have been excellent. Well, mine was too and they fixed my problem at an incredibly reasonable price! The staff was very professional, took all social distancing precautions and I was in and out very quickly. Tops and trends replaced the defective sunroof (under recall warranty) on my son's Highlander, and I must say from the beginning until the end, dealing with Kimberly and the staff was awesome!
Unknown to me on a previous repair the tech at the other shop had stripped the bolts and caused the seat to "rock" when the car came to a stop.
They repaired it in one day and it was a pretty labor intensive job from what I understand.
This is my second time having them work on a vehicle for me, and I'll be returning when I need any other help with my car needs.
They did a thorough inspection and found one of the drain pipes in the roof was damaged due to poor installment previously, and another drain tube that was disconnected and emptying into the floor.
