Failed a Smog Check 1994 Jeep Wrangler failed for High N Ox emissions. Our new customer was at her wits’ end trying to get her Jeep to pass a smog check. Before discovery us, she had replaced the catalytic converter (among other repairs) and the emissions actually went up! She found us online and drove from Los Angeles with the hopes that we could get her Jeep Wrangler fixed. In the past, I will admit that although we are a highly experienced emission repair shop, we have had occasional challenges in reducing emissions on certain pre-OBD II vehicles. The fact is, certain emission failures and certain vehicles can be tricky. Thankfully, we had an opening and our lead technician agreed to take the vehicle on. Long story short, we were able to reduce N Ox significantly and the Jeep passed!
