Do they need my water and power?

Is mobile as good as a detail shop?
For interiors, protection and regular upkeep, yes, and it saves you a day without the car. For multi-stage correction and coatings a fixed bay still wins, because those jobs want controlled light, a dust-free space and a long stretch of dry, still air. Good mobile operators will tell you when a job belongs indoors.
How much space does the van need?
Your car, the van behind or beside it, and walking room all the way around with the doors open. Level ground helps and shade helps more, since polish and sealant flash off too fast on hot paint. A garage works well if there is light. Street parking with traffic passing close is the one to avoid.
Can I book a mobile detail at my apartment or office?
Sometimes, and you have to ask first. Many complexes and homeowner associations ban washing on site because of where the runoff goes, and an office lot usually needs a word with the facilities manager. A detailer who has worked your building before will know the rule. Getting moved on halfway through a job helps nobody.
What does the travel fee depend on?
