Muffler & Exhaust Services in Rochester Hills, MI

Winter is here, and with it comes the challenge of keeping your car in great shape through the snowy season. At South Street Auto Care, we're dedicated to helping you ensure that your vehicle is prepared for winter's unique demands. Here are some key tips to consider: 1. Battery Check: Cold weather can significantly affect your car's battery. It's important to check if it's fully charged and in good condition. If it's been in use for over three years, it might be time for a replacement. 2. Tires Matter: Good traction is crucial in snowy conditions. Ensure your tires have adequate tread depth and are properly inflated to maintain good grip on slippery roads. 3. Antifreeze Levels: This is essential to prevent engine freeze. Check your antifreeze levels and ensure it's properly mixed to keep your engine running smoothly. 4. Windshield Care: Visibility can be challenging during winter. Use a winter-grade windshield washer fluid and ensure your wiper blades are in good condition to combat snow and sleet. 5. Emergency Kit: Always have an emergency kit in your car. This should include items like blankets, a flashlight, a first-aid kit, and some essential tools. For more information click the button below and give us a call!
