#38 In honor of Valentine’s Day: Initiated in 2007 by Loveland, Colorado, the "City With a He ART" initiative has since positioned the city as a beacon of creativity, both locally and internationally. As of now, the city is adorned with 30 unique sculptures, with new additions introduced annually, all crafted by local talent. Dubbed "The Sweetheart City," Loveland has garnered attention for its vibrant arts scene, under the stewardship of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce. This program facilitates a connection between heart sponsors and artists, leading to the creation of bespoke art pieces. Each unveiling ceremony of a heart sculpture serves to both celebrate and integrate the piece within the community. The "City with He ART™" initiative aims to draw individuals of all ages, from both the local vicinity and globally, to partake in and appreciate Loveland's artistic spirit. The program features fiberglass hearts, each standing 5 feet tall and 4.5 feet wide, sponsored and named by their owners, who also select the artist to bring their vision to life. The culmination of this artistic process is marked by an unveiling event organized by the Chamber of Commerce, aimed at community engagement.
