Will I unload faster with a bigger blower?

This is one of the most common issues that drivers and owners have to understand. Often, a smaller blower moves powder faster than a bigger blower. Too much air can be pushed into a pneumatic tank discharge line, which may cause less product to fall from the product valve. In a situation like this, a larger blower either has to run at a slower speed, which can build up excessive heat and create premature blower failure, or the tank has to be vented through a blowdown valve, which can cause excessive noise at plants. Our experts can help you weigh these issues to determine opportunities that help save weight, money, and time. We choose the smaller blowers that match better with your current products!

Will my PTO work on a new truck?

Maybe, but it depends on the condition of your system. Transmissions and PTO ratios vary widely, so you must treat your PTO carefully to ensure it turns at the same speed and matches the power requirements demanded by each blower.

What cargo tank HAZMAT testing do I need?

Our service department currently has over 100 years of collective experience with tank testing and repairs. We send our managers and RIs (Registered Inspectors) to cargo tank workshops taught by U.S. Department of Transportation inspectors at every opportunity. We will help you determine which tests are needed for your tank spec based on the type of product you are hauling.
