Santa Fe Tow Service sent out their farm equipment towing team to a rural area in Garnett, KS. A local farmer was spreading fertilizer on his fields when disaster struck. Heavy rains earlier in the week had caused a pile of brush to be deposited at the end of a low water bridge connecting two fields. The farmer attempted to cross the bridge with his tractor. When he realized that he could not get around the brush, the he began to reverse off of the bridge. Unfortunately, as he was doing so, the back wheel slipped off the bridge! The tractor fell off the bridge, landing on its side in 5 feet of water in the creek below the bridge. Miraculously, the farmer was able to climb out of the tractor without a cut on him! Although Santa Fe’s headquarters were over 1.5 hours away from Garnett, KS, the farmer reached out to them knowing that they have the specialty equipment needed to handle such a job. The farm equipment towing & recovery team arrived on site with a 50 ton rotator and a 75 ton rotator.
