Bob, inheriting the business upon his father-in-law's passing, encountered his first major challenge in 1965: a tornado that devastated the original establishment. Showing resilience and entrepreneurial spirit, he reopened in 1966 as Bartel's Auto. Bob's commitment to integrity became the cornerstone of the business, leading to 30 years of sustained growth and success.
