Great job and quick turnaround with engine work on a Promaster.
Mike and his team are the only people that have ever given me and my van the time of day to find the root cause to the problems I was having, always getting me back on the road quickly.
Where do I start… I’ll save you the full nightmare story since I bought a T1N sight unseen from someone out of state (lesson learned)… For two years, it was towed more than I drove it… until I brought “Nan the Van” to Irish Mike.
Thank you Mike and colleagues for the a/c work on the van.
Ultimately he ended up connecting me with a great vehicle and helped me sort through all the confusion and details for sprinter vans!
I did want to use the van pretty quickly, so Mike said he could fix the suspension if I paid for that on my own while he got the insurance paperwork together.
I work on mine doing a lot of the approachable maintenance, so I like to work with a mechanic that will run the codes in front of you and come to a decision with you on the approach based on the needs.
He helped us removed and cleaned EGR valve and did forced regeneration and air filter and oil change, and kindly gave us some vehicle maintenance advice.
Total time for both attempts to get this resolved took 3 hours and an hour long test drive to make sure we are confident climbing up i70 towards Loveland pass.
I had every intention of dropping my rig off and flying home while stranded.
