There are a lot of good reasons for using plastic instead of glass to make headlight lenses: they're cheaper, lightweight, and can be molded into different shapes to make the vehicles front end more aerodynamic. The downside is that plastic oxidizes over time. Oxidation occurs because damaging UV rays from the sun breaks down oils in the plastic. When headlights oxidize, the amount of light exiting the headlight decreases, leaving drivers unable to see as far or as clearly. Plus it looks bad.

Our Mazda 3 had one headlight that was so cloudy and yellowed that it was like only having one working light.

It took nearly less than an hour and my fully oxidized headlights looked brand new again.

Had the Doc restore the headlights on my 2011 BMW and he did a fantastic job.

Just wanted to let everyone know when the wife went to work this morning she thought she was driving with her HIGH BEAMS on the lights were so bright lights haven't looked like this since the care left the showroom floor back in 2014.
My 17-year-old Honda's headlights were so badly clouded over I had trouble seeing when driving at night.
