Kulmann's Automotive was started on a dead end street in the East end of Waterbury in 1965 by Ron Kulmann. The business moved to a larger building one year later and then moved to the present location in 1969. The building has been added onto twice, adding truck wheel alignment in 1973 and a paint spray booth in 1992. Kulmann's continuously upgrades the service equipment and keeps the technicians up to date on the latest technology. Kulmann's built three DARE cars for the Wolcott Police Department.
