I was trying to fill up my desperately flat tires at the Sonoco around the corner before leaving town for the holidays and I was having trouble with the machine. Thankfully one of Wayne's Garage's employees (I unfortunately forgot to ask his name) who was pumping gas at the Sonoco noticed and tried to help me. He couldn't get the machine to work either, and even though the garage was closed he offered to use their air compressor. He spoke to the manager who opened the door to the garage and then he filled my tires. I cannot emphasize how grateful I am for his help, his kindness allowed me to leave for my trip on time and truly made my week. It can be expensive for things beyond oil changes and inspection, but you get what you pay for and it’s obvious they keep great mechanics on staff - they have never tried to upcharge me or exaggerate a problem, they always do quality work, and they were willing to work with me to figure out payment when some labor-intensive parts had to be replaced in my older car.
I went for an emissions check and brake service originally and now go back regularly for oil changes and maintenance.
This was my first time visiting this shop and when it comes to my vehicle I’m very particular and hard to please.
They are always very accommodating and will do everything to give you the best service that your car needs.
