The client came in with a problem on their Audi Q5. The check engine light was on, the engine was running unevenly and making a metallic knocking sound. We conducted an inspection, performed some tests on the actuators, and found a malfunction in the timing system. To replace the timing chains and tensioners in this car, it is necessary to remove the engine and disconnect the automatic transmission. After removing the engine and dismantling the timing cover, it was discovered that due to untimely replacement of the timing system, some parts like the chain guides and tensioners were completely worn out. The client decided to replace the entire timing system and related parts. While waiting for the parts, we are working on replacing the front suspension and have also replaced the rear brake discs.
