This is a question that we get asked a lot. In some states, applying a window tint on the glass of your vehicle is completely fine, in other states, tinting is illegal. You should ask the authorities if you get in trouble because of this.

Q: What do the different levels of film mean?

Film percentages stand for the amount of light that is allowed to go through the film or light transmission. The lower the percentage, the darker the film.

Q: Is the tint applied on the inside of the window?

Yes. In most cases, people make the mistake of putting it on the outside of the glass. By installing it on the inside, you allow maximum durability. On vehicles, the window tint is hand-cut on the outside of the glass, then installed on the interior.
