FAQs

Q: Will the light bar fly off?

While it is not the responsibility of Aerox Industries to maintain the attachment points of the light bar we do have a method we recommend. We suggest strongly that all light bars be fastened using bolt holes not slots.

Q: How do we clean the Aerolidz cover?

Soap and water, Plastic cleaner, Plastic polish, ceramic coating are all good sources. To clean the inside you can roll up a hand towel and slide in side. Use a broom stick to push the length of the Aerolidz.

Q: Does the Aerolidz fix soft top flap?

In most cases it does all though it was not designed to fix that. The cheap OEM top is the worst. The Premium OEM is better. The tops from Bestop is great they have the most support. The key to fixing wind noise on a soft top is to mount the light as low as possible to get the top of the light below the roof line. This will help keep the wind from directly hitting the soft top. Our brackets are at a good position to prevent that noise.

Q: How to install our light bar with a JL or aftermarket switching system?

Easy, remove our switch that is provided on the wiring harness. Then tie those wires together and put away. Then take red battery wire on harness to you switch. Take black battery wire to ground.

Q: Does a triple row LED bar fit your covers?

Yes they fit the Dual row covers as long as the back of them measure 3.5" front to back. The shape will be either square or a long bullet shape. SEE our installation pics for sizing.
