What is included in an automatic transmission rebuild?

Our rebuilt units come with a complete overhaul soft parts kit which includes clutches, seals, gaskets and other soft parts needed to rebuild units. Other hard parts such as pump, planetary gears, drums and valve bodies are throughly inspected to meet our quality standards and replaced if necessary.

How long does it take to rebuild an automatic transmission?

Since we provide our customers with a guarantee we take our time in doing the job right. The estimated time of rebuilding a transmission is 3-4 business days. There are times when parts are special order and may take additional days to complete the job.

How can I extend the life of my transmission?

We understand rebuilding a transmission can be costly and recommend to check your transmission fluid regularly. Perform the transmission service at least once a year depending on your driving habits. Talk to your local transmission shop before adding any additives.

What is a transmission service fluid change?

A transmission service is a maintenance service to your automatic or standard transmission which will extend the life of your transmission. This service is not likely to fix any issues. During a transmission service we replace the filter, pan gasket and transmission fluid if applicable.

How can I check my transmission's fluid level?

Even though in older vehicles it may seem like an easy task it is always recommended to take your vehicle to a technician since some vehicles may require to be checked on neutral instead of parking and other special procedures may need to be done.
