How to take care of your vehicle during quarantine. 1. Start your vehicle and let run for 20 to 30 minutes at least once a week. This will help to keep the battery charged, the oil from gumming up and the fuel system clean of sediment. 2. If possible drive it around the neighborhood or just pull up and down the driveway a few times. This will keep the tires from flat spotting, that will cause a vibration when we do get to be back to normal life. It will also keep rust from building on the braking system that will cause noise and problems in the future. 3. Check and set your tire pressure. During this time the tires will lose pressure. We do not want you getting to return to work and late on the first back because of a flat tire. The proper PSI for your tire and vehicle is listed on the inside of the drivers door frame. Do not inflate to the max pressure on the side of the tire. 4. Clean your windshield and wiper blades before driving. To clean the wiper blades simply lift the arm and clean the rubber strip with a wet paper towel or wipe. If you need service or have questions about your vehicle please give us a call. We will remain open as long as we can.
