Is Drivetrain Repair Covered Under an Auto Warranty? Holladay Drivers’ Questions Answered Warranty Coverage is Often Limited by Time or Mileage A dealer’s initial and any optional extended warranty you can purchase when buying a car often sounds like a good deal. It’s crucial to understand that often; this coverage expires after a certain amount of time or a specific number of miles. Depending on the age of your car when the problem arises, your warranty may no longer be in effect. It Doesn’t Usually Cover Normal Wear and Tear Most warranty coverage extends only to flawed parts because of manufacturing defects. Policies don’t usually cover ordinary repairs because of typical wear and tear from driving. Is the Drivetrain Covered? The best answer is possibly. If your car is within time and mileage limits, the repairs are due to a flawed part, and you’re willing to go back to the original car dealer, it’s possible that a warranty would cover your drivetrain repair needs. Otherwise, finding an expert in drivetrain repair is the best solution to keep your car reliable and in great shape. Do You Need Drivetrain Repair Near Holladay?
